£50 million legacy boost for sports facilities.

Up to a thousand local sports clubs and facilities will be upgraded thanks to the Inspired Facilities fund, part of the Places People Play mass participation legacy programme.

Designed to be as simple and accessible as possible, the fund is ideal for community groups and sports clubs who may not have received public funding before.

To help to make applying easier, a catalogue of typical facilities developments and improvements has been created, based on what sports clubs have told us they need.
And for those whose applications are successful, they can take advantage of a group of pre-appointed contractors without the need for a lengthy procurement process.
 
This is a new initiative and may be of use to NRA clubs.
