The National Rifle Association is holding another Open Day for budding marksmen, where members of the public can sample the pressures that competitors might face whilst testing their skills at Altcar Training Camp, Hightown, Merseyside on Saturday 7 April 2007. Shotgun, air rifle, gallery and target rifle as well as historic and classic firearms are all on offer from 9.00am to approximately 4.00pm.

Participants must complete a simple registration form (either online or on the day) and produce a form of identification (eg credit card, driving licence etc) on arrival. All shooting will be under one-to-one tuition and supervision throughout. (NB Age restrictions apply for children under 14 years of age for some shooting activities and all children must be accompanied by an adult).

Shooting: From 9.00am to 4.00pm (NB should we have a high volume of attendance then shooting MAY continue until later)

Price: £6 registration fee (for participation activities); £3 children. Books of ten £1 tickets may then be purchased which can be redeemed at each activity depending on the price.
