This multi-discipline meeting is a must for your shooting diary and has its roots in pistol calibre firearms but there are also plenty of competitions for Black Powder, Air and Fullbore from 15 yards right up to 1000 yards.
This Meeting has over 75 well attended competitions to enter, giving you enough chances to earn yourself one of the much sought after Grandmaster Medals.
In addition to the shooting there is the Arms Fair held in the Bisley Pavilion. Full details can be found the current NRA GR&P handbook that incorporates the booklet for the Phoenix Meeting.
Last year's booklet is available to download below. This will be replaced once the 2013 version has been finalised.

Prepare to be a contender because British Champions emerge from this event. Run on a similar format to the other 'Action Weekends' including competitions for Gallery Rifle and Pistol, fullbore and Target Shotgun events. Running concurrently with this event is the premier GR team match, the Gallery Rifle Home Countries National Match, which is to be shot shoulder to shoulder on the Saturday afternoon.
Other team matches are available in several of the events and you can nominate your team anytime before the first team member is due to shoot.

For those of you that support the discipline of Classic and Historic Arms and own firearms that fall into this category, this meeting is a must. Long Range, Short Range, rifle and pistol, you bring it and the Match Director will get you shooting somewhere (as long as Range Regulations allow it).
In addition to the shooting, there is usually an Arms Fair held and run by the Bisley Pavilion (01483 489270)
For three years the Classic and Historic sub-committee have been working on volume 5 of the NRA Handbook. This will include the rules of shooting and details for any competitor interested in the discipline of Classic and Historic. When finalised you will be able to download it from this website.
