Sat 26 Apr Clubs Mini Palma Match (National Shooting Centre (NSC), Bisley)
A Mini Palma Match will be held on Saturday 26 April 2014 for teams of eight from any club, school or county affiliated to the NRA.

The Purples Match will be held on the following day which will hopefully give many teams a great weekend's shooting.

If your club, school or county would be interested in competing in this match please contact Karen Robertson by clicking below. Teams will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.

The course of fire should be as follows;

08:30 onwards Practice at 800 yards
10:00 - 12:00 2 & 15 at 800 yards
13:30 - 15:30 2 & 15 at 900 yards
15:30 - 17:30 2 & 15 at 1000 yards

Changes to this course of fire may be agreed by team captains before the match.

Targets: Palma targets throughout.

Clubs may enter more than one team.

Conditions of match, match costs, ammunition, prizes etc will be notified once we have an idea of interest but the price will be the exact cost of targets, markers, ammunition and prizes. There will be prizes in different classes of team so you won't need a GB wind coach to win something!

And who knows how many of your club members might just end up on the next Palma squad?!

Sat 02 Aug HRA Precision Sharp & Snap Shooting Match (National Shooting Centre (NSC), Bisley)

The Highpower Rifle Association is running a Precision Sharp and Snap Shooting Match at Bisley on Saturday 2nd August 2014 with all profits from the entry fees going to the Royal British Legion; this is a repeat of the 2011 and 2012 events. The match will be designed to allow many of the regular Civilian Service Rifle shooters and others to get their Remingtons, AWs, AICS mounted custom builds and other bolt guns out for a day on challenging targets for a good cause as well as allowing their CSR rifles to be used.

Whilst this is all KDS on Century Range the targets are challenging they allow the shooter to engage targets subject to the ability of their equipment and themselves and offer the shooter something different.

The provisional CoF is still requires minor tweaks and then it will be subject to NRA approval, but will be shot from 100 to 600 yards and will consist of about approximately 100+ rounds. Competitors will be required to do their turn pulling targets in the Butts. Trophies will be offered in 3 classes for the morning short range stage aggregate and the afternoon longer range stage aggregate.

As in previous years the available sponsorship prizes will be drawn from a squadding number raffle so everyone has a chance to come away with something.

Entry fee is 60.00 for those who enter before 15 Jun 14 and 75.00 for those that enter after 15 Jun 14. Insufficient entries will result in match cancellation and return of entry fee.
