Protection of Children & Vulnerable Adults

The NRA has published its new Guide to Policy and Procedures on the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults in Target Shooting.
Appendix 15 (Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults) in the Handbook of Rules and Regulations of the NRA ('Bisley Bible') has also been amended in line with this new guidance.  
A copy of the full guidance document can be obtained on request from the NRA’s Child Protection Officer. It is also available below as a download in .pdf format.  
This guidance document should be regarded as a ‘living document’ which may be amended from time to time.
Copies of the Child Protection Guide Summary together with information about the new Vetting and Barring Scheme (VBS) were sent to all NRA affiliated clubs and associations with their annual renewal notification. Copies of these two documents are also available to download in .pdf format (see below)..
Clubs will shortly be asked to notify the NRA of their decision to adopt the NRA policy and to give contact details of their Child Protection Officers. This form is also available to download in .pdf format. (below)
Application forms for CRB checks by NRA members and members of NRA affiliated clubs in England and Wales can be requested using the CRB Request form (below)
